Outreach provides a full range of library materials including large print, small print, fiction, non-fiction, magazines and tapes, DVDs and books on CD. Outreach patrons can choose their own books and materials or have volunteers do it for them. Information about services from the Oregon State Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped is also available.
Lobby service at retirement centers
The Outreach Coordinator takes carts of library materials into the lobby or meeting area at centers around Coos County once a month. Regular and large-print books are available as well as paperbacks, audiobooks and DVDs.
Outreach sends library material through the mail free of charge to qualified homebound patrons in Coos County. Materials are sent and returned through the mail at no charge to the patron.
